Welcome to The Mustard Seed Learning Center, where the seed of curiosity is planted and the vine of creativity grows.
Located in the heart of Fairburn, South Dakota, our center provides a nurturing, hands-on environment for children to learn, play, and thrive — blending the best of homeschooling values with the structure and support of a traditional classroom setting.

Our Mission

We believe that every child is a unique creation, brimming with potential waiting to be cultivated. Our mission is to guide each student’s natural curiosity into meaningful discovery through faith-based learning, imaginative play, and personalized education.

Our Program

The Mustard Seed Learning Center is a proctored homeschool and early learning program designed to serve children of all ages. We provide an enriching environment that encourages exploration, social development, and academic growth — all while giving families the flexibility and reassurance of a trusted, small-scale learning community.

Classroom Structure

Our classrooms are intentionally small to ensure each child receives individual attention and support:

  • Seedlings (Daycare): Focused on early development, sensory play, and social skills through structured routines and creative exploration.

  • Sprouts (Preschool): A blend of foundational academics, hands-on projects, and guided learning time that builds confidence and curiosity.

  • Vines (Kindergarten & Up): Students receive individualized instruction in core subjects with guidance from certified proctors, while also enjoying art, outdoor learning, and project-based experiences.

Days & Hours

  • Before/After School Program:
    Monday – Thursday | 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM / 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM

    Friday | 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

  • School Courses:
    Core Curriculum: Monday – Thursday | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

    Creativity Classes: Monday - Thursday | 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM

  • Daycare:

    Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
